The fourth season of Stranger Things, which will conclude its 5th season, was first confirmed in September 2019 and a teaser was released the following February.

The release date of the fourth season of Netflix’s popular series Stranger Things and when the hit series will end has been announced.

Netflix announced that the 4th season of the series, which has been on hold for a while due to the corona virus epidemic, will be broadcast in two parts. The first part of the 4th season of the series will be on the platform on May 27, and the second part will be on the platform on July 1.

The series, which started in 2016 and starring names such as Winona Ryder, David Harbor, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono and Matthew Modine, is waiting for the audience to appear in its 4th season.

The announcement about the popular Netflix series was posted on the broadcast giant’s official Twitter account, and an official poster was also shared.

LONGEST SEASON EVER
Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer also published an open letter in which they discussed their hopes and aspirations for future episodes. They also confirmed that while the fourth season of Stranger Things is the longest season ever, it is the season before the series finale:

“With nine scripts, over eight hundred pages, thousands of visual effects shots, and a runtime that’s almost twice as long as previous seasons, Stranger Things 4 was the toughest season ever. We look forward to sharing this with you.”

The brothers also pointed out that the release of new episodes of the series will mean the beginning of the end for the series as well:

“Seven years ago, we planned the entire story of Stranger Things. At the time, we estimated that the story would last four to five seasons. There are many more exciting stories to tell in the world of Stranger Things; new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes.”

A press release also hinted at new episodes of the show: “Six months have passed since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. While we’re struggling with the outcome, our group of friends is breaking up for the first time, and being in the hustle and bustle of high school hasn’t made things any easier. At this most vulnerable time, a new and terrifying supernatural threat emerges.”
