The Annecy International Animation Film Festival, widely regarded as the world’s most prestigious and influential animation event, has successfully concluded its 2025 edition with a vibrant display of creativity, innovation, and international collaboration.
Held annually in Annecy, France, the festival is more than just a competition — it is a global marketplace and gathering space for professionals across the animation industry. From feature films and TV series to short films and student works, Annecy showcased the very best of the animation world.
This week, the picturesque town of Annecy transformed into a global hub for animators, producers, and animation lovers. Alongside screenings and award ceremonies, the event hosted the Mifa Market, expert panels, and professional networking sessions that set the tone for the future of animation.
The 2025 edition welcomed over 18,200 badge holders, supported by an incredible team of 650 volunteers and numerous global partners and sponsors. Thanks were extended to artists from around the world for sharing their inspiring work, as well as to service providers, organizers, and the entire animation community.
With its strong industry presence, creative energy, and global reach, the Annecy Festival continues to be the heartbeat of the animation world — a place where new projects are born, technologies are unveiled, and artistic boundaries are constantly redefined.
