In the current system, short films are generally produced only for festival circuits. While a few films may win awards at these competitions, hundreds of good films, and all the effort poured into them, are forgotten without receiving any material or meaningful reward. This unsustainable cycle discourages producers and directors from creating new work. This situation is a great loss not only for the filmmakers but also for the audiences who never get to see these wonderful stories.
Our Solution: An Innovative and Sustainable Ecosystem
We set out to change this unfortunate waste of effort. Our goal is not to try and grab a slice from the industry’s existing pie; on the contrary, it is to bake a fresh, delicious new pie together with all stakeholders and share it equitably.
