It Will Have Its World Premiere At Cannes Film Festival!

The world premiere of “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Fate” by Lucasfilm, directed by James Mangold and prepared to meet moviegoers with its brand new adventure after 15 years, will be held at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18. The highly anticipated final film of the cult series will be released on June 30.

A surprise news came for Lucasfilm’s “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny”, where master actor Harrison Ford brought the legendary hero archaeologist Indiana Jones back to life and James Mangold sat in the director’s chair. The film will have its world premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival this year. The film, which will meet with its first audience on May 18, will be released in cinemas on June 30.

The director of the film, Mangold, summarizes his feelings about making the opening in Cannes with these words: “In 1995, I had the honor of attending the Cannes Film Festival with my first film as part of the Directors’ 15 Days selection. After 28 years, I am proud to be back with a much bigger production. My legendary partners and I are so excited to share the brand new Indiana Jones adventure with you!”.

Starring Harrison Ford, the movie stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Ethann Isidore and Mads Mikkelsen. Produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel and executive produced by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” will take the mystery-filled atmosphere of the series to the next level.
