According to the decision announced before the Academy award ceremonies, people who will attend the ceremony from outside of Los Angeles will not have to go into quarantine as in previous years. Making a statement to Deadline, the Academy removed the 5-day quarantine period, stating that they took this decision with the consultation of healthcare professionals.

Good news for the 94th Academy Awards
While the excited wait for the 94th Oscar Awards, which will be held on March 27 this year, continues, good news has come for the names who will attend the ceremony. The Academy has announced that the guests will no longer be quarantined before the ceremony.

Participants no longer need to go into quarantine prior to the ceremony, but will still be required to have all PCR tests done and a negative result.

Variety wrote that nominees and invitees must show their vaccination status, but the same will not be required of artists and presenters.

As every year, for the Oscar ceremony, which will be held at the Dolby Theater this year, the Academy will also set up arrangements with sampling booths for travelers who come to see celebrities and want to experience the excitement of the ceremony from outside, but it will be the responsibility of the people to take the test or not.
